Can I get a bound score?+-

Yes, if you order a brass or wind band piece you can elect - during the checkout process - to order an A3 landscape score, an A4 portrait score or both. The prices shown are based on standard post (3 days in New Zealand, 3-6 days in Australia and 1-2 weeks in the rest of the world). If you require faster delivery, email us at info@experianzamusic.com and we'll quote you on a faster means of delivery.

Can I submit a score for consideration?+-

Yes, we encourage composers and arrangers to submit music to us. Send a PDF and sound file to info@experianzamusic.com, we'll review it and get back to you ASAP. Things like copyright status and seasonality may affect our decisions, but we promise to give your score the consideration and respect it deserves.

Can you help composers and arrangers with copyright issues?+-

We take copyright very seriously and we will NEVER publish a work without copyright permission. In order to assist composers, arrangers and recording artists stay on the right side of copyright law, we're in the process of establishing a copyright licensing service. Look for an announcement in October.

I see the price in dollars - what's the currency?+-

Unless you're using a VPN or we've been unable to properly detect your IP address, you should see pricing in your local currency. So, if you're in Calgary you'll be seeing the price in Canadian dollars and if you're in Brisbane you'll be seeing it in Australian dollars. If you're in Lucerne and you're seeing the price in pounds sterling please contact us at info@experianzamusic.com - the gremlins must have been at work! If you're outside the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the UK, the EU, Switzerland and Norway, you'll see the price in US dollars.

Can I purchase physical music or recordings?+-

Yes, you can purchase print music from our exclusive global distribution partner World of Brass. Click on the World of Brass icon on our home page and you'll be taken directly to the Experianza Music page at World of Brass.

Do I have to pay tax on my purchase?+-

If you live in New Zealand, you'll pay GST (15%). This is included in the prices you see on the website. If you live outside New Zealand, we don't charge tax, although this is subject to change, based on tax legislation in your country.

How does your grading system work?+-

We have two systems - one for brass band and one for everything else. The brass band grading system is based on the UK system of sections. As an example, If we grade a piece 2nd Section, we believe it's appropriate for bands from 2nd Section up - so it's also appropriate for 1st and Championship Sections. It may also be playable by some lower section bands but we don't believe it will be widely accessible to 3rd and 4th Section ensembles. All other genres of music are graded 1 to 6. 1 is very easy, 2 is easy, 3 is imedium, 4 is medium advanced, 5 is advanced and 6 is professional level. Any questions, please contact us.

Is there a shipping & handling charge for bound scores?+-

All costs associated with producing and shipping a bound score are included in the price you see at checkout. There are no additional costs. Music purchased from World of Brass will attract their current terms and conditions regarding shipping and handling.
