Tango de Pesar

By David Chaulk

This work, for trombone or euphonium and piano, draws its inspiration from the modern Argentinian tango genre, made popular internationally by Astor Piazolla. This particular 'tango' is a rather sad and beautiful work that will clearly demonstrate the lyrical qualities of either instrument. The solo brass instrument and piano are very much equal partners in this piece. Ideal for recitals.
